Most holiday makers visit Turkey for its sandy beaches and stunning sea, and for many, this is all they think Turkey offers. However, this not the case and despite false beliefs, Turkey has a lot more to offer than beaches and is becoming more and more of a golfing hotspot. There are a large percentage of tourists who visit Turkey solely for its golf and are investing in golf property.Golf has not been a particularly popular sport in Turkey and it has been recently, within the last few years that the sport has gained interest and really commenced. The country is trying its best to become the next golfing hotspot by building new and glamorous courses next to beaches and amenities in Turkey’s popular coastal locations and in Istanbul too.
Currently, the best location for high-class golfing is in Belek which is 48 Kilometers from Antalya. It is a very developed tourist town with gorgeous beaches and endless bars, restaurants and hotels. This is an area worth investing in for golf property as the town has eight high-quality golf courses. Although you won’t be able to find property right on or next to a golf course, there is property you can find within a few minutes walking distance. The average price for one of these nearby properties is around 65,000 Pound and has two bedrooms. For larger property with three bedrooms, you can be expected to pay around 85,000 Pound.
These prices are rather expensive for Turkey, but prices in Belek will not stay this low for much longer and are constantly rising.
There are also more courses being developed in Altinkum which is around 85 minutes from Bodrum.
